Matchy Matchy

Shirt: Kate Spade
Shorts: Stella McCartney
Shoes: Chinese Laundry
Necklace: Kate Spade
Watch: Michael Kors

I bought the necklace and shirt on two separate occasions not even realizing that they go perfectly together. I don't wear them together all the time because I feel as though it is too "safe." However, the details on the shirt are very small, so it is not noticeable right away. Also, it is an outfit that I can always just pull out of my closet without thinking since I automatically know it will go together, so it saves time in the morning. It's always nice to have a few outfits like these that are "pre-planned."

Adventures in Philadelphia

The best part about Philadelphia is the architecture. The city is one of the oldest in the country and is deeply rooted in American history. I love how the architecture today still resembles and reminds the people of the city from when it was first settled in. This truly is the city of brotherly love.

Bohemian Vibes

Outfit:
Dress: Free People
Hat: Forever 21
Bracelet: Alex + Ani
Ring: H&M
Shoes: Giuseppe Zanotti

My fashion style always changes based on my mood. Today, I decided go for a bohemian look. The weather was sunny and hot and for some reason, that weather spoke to me and told me to be a little bohemian. For this style, my two biggest inspirations are Vanessa Hudgens and Nicole Richie. I feel like they just know how to create outfits and pair it with the right accessories and shoes. For me, I like to wear a nice maxi dress, especially the one I am wearing right now, and work around that because I like for the maxi dress to be the statement for my outfit. I love the lace detailing at the top and then the pattern of the dress and how to dress flows really nicely when walking. Also, a nice addition are the two slits at the bottom which allow for the legs to peak through (and it's easy to walk in which is always a plus). Hopefully you guys like it!

Mixing Prints

 Top: TJ Maxx
Shorts: J Brand
Shoes: Chinese Laundry
Sunglasses: PacSun
Necklace: Gift from my mom
Watch: Michael Kors

Mixing prints almost seem like a faux pas to some people. It is a concept that is usually untouched because of how easy it is to do it wrong. However, an easy way to do this correctly is to have prints that are in the same color family. For example, with my outfit today I paired a neutral top with neutral shorts, so even though the patterns are different, the outfit still matches. I think with the right pairings, mixing prints is a great way to make an outfit seem more unique.
